Darlene is an experienced horse woman with 25+ years in the saddle. She started competing at AQHA horse shows and 4-H by the time she was 7 years old, but quickly discovered her love for fast horses and became very passionate about barrel racing. Her first rodeo competition was when she 14, and it was right in her own backyard! She devoted much of her time as a Professional Rodeo Cowgirl throughout the 1990's - before getting married and starting a family. Some of her accomplishments include: 1995 & 1996 Mid-Sates Rodeo Assoc. Top Ten Finals Qualifier, 1997 Broken Horn Rodeo Assoc. Top Ten Finals Qualifier and Reserve Champion Barrel Racer, 1997 IPRA Northeast Regional Finals Qualifier and Reserve Champion Barrel Racer, 2010 SEBRA World Finals Qualifier, plus numerous professional rodeo wins.
